UNCLE BEN’S® Red Beans & Tropical Rice

Ingredients
- 1 cup UNCLE BEN’S® Converted Brand Parboiled Long Grain Rice
- 2¼ cups low sodium chicken broth
- 1 cup pineapple diced
- 1 cup cooked red beans
- 1½ teaspoons garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 pound diced ham
- ¼ cup chopped cilantro
Instructions
- Combine UNCLE BEN’S® Converted Brand Parboiled Long Grain Rice and chicken broth in sauce pan. Heat on high and begin to boil, reduce heat to simmer, cover and cook 20 minutes.
- Meanwhile combine pineapple, red beans, garlic powder, onion powder and ham. Mix into hot cooked rice and set aside for 5 minutes before serving. Garnish with cilantro.
